Bosch

For over 125 years the name “Bosch” has been associated with forward-looking technology and trailblazing inventions that have made history. Bosch does business all over the world and is active in the most wide-ranging sectors.

The company Robert Bosch first appeared in the Czech region at the end of 19th century, when among its local business connections was the reputed Laurin & Klement. The first official branch of Bosch was founded in 1920; after a forced 44-year long interruption, in December 1989, Bosch renewed its local activities.

There are several independent subsidiaries of Robert Bosch GmbH Stuttgart. Business activities are provided by Prague-based Robert Bosch odbytová s.r.o., Bosch Termotechnika s.r.o, and partially also by Bosch Rexroth s.r.o, based in Brno. Prague is also the seat of subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, which deals with home appliances – BSH domácí spotřebiče s.r.o.

Our production plants are located in Jihlava – Bosch Powertrain s.r.o., in České Budějovice – Robert Bosch, spol. s.r.o., in Brno – Bosch Rexroth s.r.o., and finally in Krnov – Bosch Termotechnika s.r.o.

Its presence on the Czech market has won a unique image for Bosch as an important producer and investor. Bosch products range from automotive technology to power tools, home appliances, thermotechnology or industrial technology and all these have become part of Czech households, cars, services or even industrial companies.
